I arrived in France in August 2017. I am a 2nd year student studying International Relations on exchange at the Reims campus of Sciences Po. « My biggest passion here—outside of politics—is engaging with the locals. Nothing but Learning new things and encountering new perspectives brings me such happiness ».
Before arriving in France, I was studying at San Francisco State University. I chose to come to France on exchange for the great professors and academics at Sciences Po, and to improve my French in my pursuit to become a political analyst the UN Department of Political Affairs. After completing my exchange, I hope to intern with the U.S. Department of State in France or at the U.S. Mission to the European Union for summer 2018.
My biggest passion here—outside of politics—is engaging with the locals. Nothing but Learning new things and encountering new perspectives brings me such happiness. I also enjoy taking up an espresso at insane hours in the night, snapping photos, reading web articles on international politics, and going on evening strolls through town with friends.
I see my role as an E-Ambassadeur at Campus France as a valuable way for others who are interested in studying in France to learn more about the different facets of life here. My contributions will likely contrast my experiences living in California to those that I have here in Marne and the places I visit in elsewhere in France.
